Beyond the quality of his work, Jerry consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of professionalism and personal attention. Even something as simple as greeting me by name whenever I call makes a meaningful difference and shows that he genuinely values his customers. I truly appreciate Jerry for providing such a high level of service and making the entire experience feel personal.

Trash company with terrible customer service.<br><br>My new house came with their alarm hardware, but I chose a different company for monitoring. I spent weeks going back and forth trying to get the equipment released. They told me multiple times that it had been done, but it never was. Eventually, I gave up and paid for an entirely new alarm system.<br><br>They also installed the doorbell that came with the house, and it has never rung inside since. I took time off work to meet a technician, only to be told after he arrived that they would not fix it because I do not pay them for monitoring. That would have been useful information before I rearranged my day.<br><br>To be clear: the hardware came with my house. I am allowed to use whichever monitoring company I choose. They installed equipment that did not work, refused to fix it, and repeatedly claimed they had released the alarm when they had not.<br><br>The technician himself was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. His boss, however, was completely useless. This company wasted my time, gave me inaccurate information, and refused to stand behind the equipment they installed. Zero integrity. Avoid them.

When hiring a home technology or security company, reliability is key. Unfortunately, our experience with Data Smart was entirely disappointing.We contacted Data Smart and a representative named Peter Orellana numerous times via phone and email, only to be met with zero communication. Even after he set up a phone meeting because we lived out of town, he never showed up. We fully intended to use Data Smart for everything, but if this lack of responsiveness is a reflection of their services, I highly discourage trusting them with your property and security needs.

From speaking with the consultant to being educated by the technician the service was great across the chain. The technician’s were very diligent and knowledgeable of their services. They didn’t try and sell me more than what I wanted and made it very easy to understand the process. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been a customer of Duncan Security for exactly 6 years but their service over the last several months has been completely unacceptable when I really needed them.<br>Since January, my carbon monoxide monitor has been going off approximately once a month (January through May). Concerned about a potential leak or faulty system, I began calling in late March to have a technician come out and inspect the system and determine if it needs updating or repair.<br>I have now made multiple appointments, and no one has ever shown up. I’ve followed up repeatedly, including calls to speak with a manager. They continue to schedule appointments that never materialize. After more than 5 phone calls, the problem remains completely unresolved.<br>Because the alarm kept going off, the firefighters were forced to disconnect the carbon monoxide monitor for safety reasons (to stop the false alarms disturbing my household), which leaves my family without proper protection.<br>This level of poor communication, repeated no-shows, and lack of urgency on a life-safety issue like carbon monoxide detection is unacceptable and dangerous. I expected much better from a security company.

No follow up whatsoever from the technical department on the visits and repairs that were to take place. Called several times and was told someone would be in touch but no one would ever call to schedule or to discuss next steps nor return calls I had made.

I had an outstanding experience with DataSmart during my recent visit on April 20th, 2026.<br><br>From the moment I walked in, the entire team was welcoming, professional, and courteous. The facility itself was very clean, well-organized, and clearly run with a high level of attention to detail.<br><br>My consultant, Myron, was exceptional. He took the time to walk me through everything step by step and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy to understand. We reviewed a detailed layout of my home, discussed multiple options for TV placements, media room setup, wiring, and overall smart home integration. He explained everything in a way that was clear, practical, and easy to follow-no confusion, no pressure.<br><br>What really stood out was his professionalism and approach. He was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. He focused on helping me make informed decisions rather than trying to upsell anything. He also took the time to show me the showroom and demonstrate the surround sound systems, which really helped bring everything to life.<br><br>It's rare to find this level of customer service and attention to detail. This initial process has been so refreshing and thorough. Charlie has gave us a top tier customer service experience and we felt taken care of as soon as we hit the door at our Data Smart Selection appointment. We asked a bunch of questions and he walked us through step by step and tailored our experience custom to our needs. Excellent Job!
