Long time Smith Thompson Home Security customer here for over two decades. Originally, my relationship with this business started out sometime in the early 2010s until now. This company *prides* itself on top-notch excellence, and that was evident from the moment I took over operations on behalf of my family. From the start of having my system taken over and reprogrammed to active service and still standing, even with a few false alarm mishaps, they have been nothing but excellent and courteous. That was extremely evident from the first technician they sent over and helped me fully verify system functionality.<br><br>Aside from a small blemish from my original system somehow being fried from a power surge and having a second, condescending technician that had treated my family and I like we didn't know any better and what we specifically wanted, it's clear that their support team cared, and listened to my feedback. Though I didn't get a follow-up on what happened to that second technician, I did get confirmation that they have blacklisted that technician from coming back to my property. I'm still a little miffed that there was some unnecessary charges, such as extra yard signs that I really didn't need, but overall, I can still endorse Smith Thompson for home security monitoring needs, especially for the familiar $16.95 rate since the beginning of their services.

I can't say enough great things about Mike Aman from Smith Thompson. Time and time again, this technician has gone above and beyond with his attentiveness and patience. There were occasions where I was considering disconnecting my service, but his genuine care and willingness to take the time to address my concerns completely changed my mind.<br><br>It's so rare to come across someone who truly cares about their customers. Smith Thompson is fortunate to have someone like him representing the company. I sincerely hope he receives the recognition he deserves. Thank you for making such a positive difference!! It's because of his service, that I've recommended multiple people to sign up with this company.

We have used Smith Thompson for many years, replacing ADT which was costing much more. We had them install three outdoor floodlight cameras, a doorbell camera and a smart digital front door lock, all for a reasonable price. The installation was done promptly and professionally. Our home security is now completely within their app. No need for a Ring subscription!

I always have the same 2 gentlemen assigned to my home and no matter which one comes, they are always very prompt and professional and thorough. We have had this company for sooo many yrs - they were excellent all this time - since they went to the new *key pads* - they don't even call when the alarm goes off anymore - boy don't we feel safe!!! Hubs called and talked with someone and she could have cared less about our problem - have a feeling these people are not even in the state of Texas anymore, sounds like their customer service has gone over seas - She did not even know how the System works!!!!! BYE BYE Smith Thompson!!!
